Last updated: 26/05/25

Our Promise

At DRVegan, accuracy isn’t optional. Every recipe, ingredient tip, and health-related statement is carefully verified before publishing to ensure it’s factually sound and trustworthy.

What We Fact-Check

We verify:

  • Ingredient benefits, substitutions, and nutritional claims
  • Dietary labels (vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, etc.)
  • Any reference to scientific studies, health data, or wellness trends
  • Quotes or tips from external experts

How We Fact-Check

  • We reference scientific studies, peer-reviewed journals, and government sources (e.g., USDA, NIH, WHO).
  • When mentioning health advice, we clearly label it as informational only and encourage consulting professionals.
  • Each article is reviewed by the author and, where needed, by external experts or consultants with domain experience.
  • Outdated content is reviewed periodically to ensure relevance and accuracy.

Sources We Trust

  • Academic Journals: Nature, PubMed, Journal of Nutrition
  • Institutions: World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Harvard Health
  • Experts: Registered Dietitians (RDs), Certified Nutritionists, Plant-Based Practitioners
